Hrcavka Canyoning

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Hrčavka Canyon is located in the Sutjeska National Park. Hrčavka is the left tributary of the Sutjeska and originates in the forested areas between the mountain ridges of Zelengora, at an altitude of 1,570 m. The Hrčavka River course is 13.5 km long.
Hrčavka Canyon is one of the last conquered canyons in Europe, and commercial canyoning tours have been organized since 2014. In the canyon, we can expect numerous cascades, waterfalls, pools, and obstacles which we'll overcome with mountaineering equipment. Prepare for natural slides, pools, swimming, jumping, greenery, and the wild beauty of the canyon.

ARRANGEMENT OVERVIEW

Upon arrival at our camp at the agreed time, transport follows to the entrance of the canyon in Sutjeska National Park. After a short walk and preparations for canyoning, the adventure begins. You'll receive all instructions and necessary equipment. Good physical fitness is desirable.
The journey through the canyon takes about 4-5 hours, and the exit from the canyon is at Tođevac. Tođevac is a medieval fortress located above the canyon, near Tjentište. After exiting the canyon, we return to our camp where lunch awaits. After lunch, your arrangement is concluded.

FOOD

In our restaurant, you'll have the opportunity to try various specialties from our region. Tasty homemade food, which will make your stay in our camp memorable, is prepared daily from fresh ingredients. Some of the dishes include moussaka, sarma (cabbage rolls), pies baked under a metal lid, homemade cheese and cream, lamb baked under a metal lid, and many other dishes.
We also consider the needs and requests of our guests, so we've prepared a special menu for vegans and vegetarians. Upon arrival at our camp or when making a reservation, just inform us, and our chef will ensure that others also "sample" your dish.

ACCOMMODATION

A total of 90 beds are distributed in accommodation units. When it comes to bungalows, we offer double, quadruple, and eight-bed bungalows on two levels. The eight-bed bungalows are suitable for families and larger groups, with a private bathroom on the first floor.
The camp also has six apartments with private bathrooms, located in the main building above the restaurant.
