GENERAL INFORMATION

Trnovačko Lake is located near the border of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The lake is surrounded by the mountains of Maglić, Volujak, Bioč, Trnovački Durmitor, Kom, Zgura, and others from the east, west, and south. The starting point is our camp at Tjentište, and we transport all guests, who express a desire to visit this heart-shaped emerald lake, to the plateau Prijevor by off-road vehicles. From there, the journey continues on foot through Suva Jezerska until you reach the lake itself. The journey from Prijevor to Trnovačko Lake takes about two and a half hours, and the length of the trail is five kilometers.

TOUR OVERVIEW

Day 1

Arrival at the "Sutjeska" camp at Tjentište in the afternoon, unpacking, and dinner. In the evening, we socialize with music in our restaurant. Our staff will present the schedule of activities for the next day.

Day 2

After breakfast, all participants of the arrangement start their adventure with our off-road vehicles to Prijevor. We take a break in the Perućica rainforest. From the clearing on the road in Dragoš village, a hiking trail winds about 200m to the arranged viewpoint, which offers an excellent view of the Skakavac waterfall. The road from Dragoš village continues towards Maglić (Prijevor). Prijevor (1,668 m above sea level) is a spacious, flattened hill beneath the highest peak of Maglić on the western side. We continue towards Trnovačko Lake, through Suva Jezerska, and this journey will take about two and a half hours with breaks and is 5km long.

Trnovačko Lake is considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain lake in Montenegro and is recognized worldwide as a "heart-shaped lake". Its heart shape and emerald green color will impress all who visit. Trnovačko Lake is about 800m long and up to 700m wide, with a depth of about 9m. We take a break at the lake for rest and swimming, photography, and then we start back. Upon returning to the camp, guests can expect delicious homemade food that will help you replenish your energy. After lunch, the arrangement is over. Until next time!

FOOD

In our restaurant, you will have the opportunity to try various specialties from our region. Delicious homemade food for which you will remember your stay in our camp is prepared daily from fresh ingredients and some of the dishes are moussaka, sarma, pies under the bell, homemade cheese and cream, lamb under the bell and many other dishes.
We also take into account the needs and requirements of our guests, so we have prepared a special menu for vegans and vegetarians. Upon arrival at our camp or when making a reservation, it is only important to mention this and our chef will make sure to let others "try a little" of your dish.

ACCOMMODATION

A total of 90 beds are distributed in accommodation units. When it comes to bungalows, we offer double, four-bed and eight-bed bungalows on two floors. The eight-bed bungalows are suitable for families and larger groups, a private bathroom is located on the first floor.
Also, the camp has six apartments with a private bathroom, which are located in the main building, above the restaurant.
